The Grotto
Our Experience at The Devils Kitchen

This short hike was the perfect place to spend a rainy, foggy afternoon with friends. The trail follows the stream up a short distance, leading to a small waterfall that cascades from the top of the grotto. The woods we hiked through were dense and green, making it an absolutely gorgeous hike. Nothing about this hike is difficult, although there are a few places where we got to cross the stream over fallen logs and small, man-made bridges.

A small pool forms where the waterfall comes down, and although we went on a cold day, it’s the perfect place to cool off on a hot, summer day. Once you get there, take your time to explore the cave and the surrounding area. We hope you have as much fun as we did at this awesome hot spot!
